10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

19 So are the ways of everyone who is greedy for gain; It takes away the life of its owners.

3 And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance…

4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.
